BRITISH COLUMBIA – In preparation for restarting the MAX mill, Discovery Ventures of Vancouver has hired Klohn Crippen Berger to complete a safety inspection of the dam at the tailings storage facility. The report will be vetted by SRK Consultants who recently completed a visit to the site near Revelstoke.

The inspection of the dam and third party review of the tailings facility was ordered by BC's chief inspector of mines following the spill at the Mount Polley mine. The order applies to all tailings management areas in the province and reports must be submitted before Dec. 1, 2014.

Discovery intends to use the MAX mill to treat gold-copper ore from its Willa deposit about 135 km away. A four-year, 500-t/d operation is planned. The mill previously treated molybdenum ore from the adjacent MAX mine.

Due diligence is underway for project financing that is anticipated to facilitate the completion of key acquisitions and to advance engineering and permitting work for both sites. Please visit DiscoveryVenturesInc.com.
