BRITISH COLUMBIA – As promised earlier this week, Toronto's Seabridge Gold has released the maiden resource numbers for the Iron Cap lower zone at its KSM gold-copper project 65 km northwest of Stewart. The second core zone identified at KSM has an estimated 165 million inferred tonnes that grade 0.59 g/t Au and 0.27% Cu. In terms of contained metal, that represents 3.1 million oz of gold and 961 million lb of copper.

Earlier this week Seabridge updated the resource estimate for the Deep Kerr zone. It now stands at 782 million inferred tonnes at 0.33 g/t Au and 0.54% Cu, or 8.2 million oz of gold and 9.3 billion lb of copper.

Chairman and CEO Rudy Fronk speculated that these zones will only reveal better grades as drilling goes deeper, particularly the Iron Cap lower zone that has been little explored. " We now think that our greatest opportunity may lie under the very large Mitchel deposit. That is now a key target for the 2015 drill season," he added.

More details are available in the news release dated March 25, 2015, and posted at SeabridgeGold.net
