NORTHERN QUEBEC – AURIZON MINES of Vancouver has secured up to Cdn$75 million for the completion and restart of its Casa Berardi mine in the Abitibi Gold Belt. The $75-million debt facility complements the earlier $28-million equity financing for the project’s direct and contingent redevelopment needs.

Aurizon owns 100% of the former mine. When it reopens in 2006, the underground mine will produce 175,000 oz of gold annually. The Casa Berardi feasibility study may be read at www.Aurizon.com.
