NUNAVUT – Edmonton-based COMMITTEE BAY RESOURCES says it will spend $5.0 million exploring the Committee Bay Greenstone Belt northeast of Baker Lake this year. The primary focus is 5,000 m of infill drilling at the Three Bluffs deposit. Based on drilling conducted through 2004, a preliminary inferred resource estimate of 1.9 million t at 8.00 g/t Au was made.

In addition, the Inuk prospect 115 km northeast of Three Bluffs is the target of follow-up drilling. Core drilled in 2003 intersected mineralized iron formation assaying up to 16.02 g/t Au over 12.6 m.

An overview of the Committee Bay Greenstone Belt and excellent maps are posted at www.CommitteeBay.com.
