NORTHWEST QUEBEC – YORBEAU RESOURCES of Montreal has announced the dewatering of the underground workings known as the Augmitto block on its Rouyn property located near Rouyn-Noranda.

Dewatering will cost about $500,000 and allow exploration drilling to move underground. Existing infrastructure on the block includes a 1,140-metre ramp, a 275-metre shaft and drifting on several levels. A historical reserve estimate, prepared for Augmitto in 1988, placed 1.72 million tonnes at 5.65 g/t Au in the proven, probable and possible categories.

President George Bodnar (514-384-6399) and chairman David Crevier (514-284-3683) are available to answer questions.
