THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO - The North Walter Lake target at PELANGIO MINES' Detour Lake property has yielded one core assaying 101.79 g/t Au over 0.3 metre. The North Walter Lake target is a laterally expansive mineralized corridor with high-grade gold values on three subparallel splays.

Drilling has concentrated on four 40-metre sections with zonal pierce points targeted at a down-dip distance of 40 metres. The three zones have been intersected to date over a strike length of up to 120 metres and to a vertical depth of 150 metres. The best hole returned 17.88 g/t Au over 1.75 metres, including the section mentioned above. Detailed drill core assays are posted at www.Pelangio.com.

The Detour Lake mine was operated by PLACER DOME from 1983 to 1999, and 1.7 million oz of gold was recovered.
