YUKON - Golden Predator of Vancouver has begun a program of sonic drilling to test the old heap leach pad at its Brewery Creek project 55 km east of Dawson City. The original heap leach operated from 1996 to 2002 with gold recovery rates in the neighbourhood of 65%, leaving a significant amount of the yellow metal in the reclaimed pad. The company is testing the potential to recover more gold from the leach pad.

Currently, resources (exclusive of the leach pad) at Brewery Creek are 3.98 million tonnes at 1.135 g/t Au in the inferred category, and 2.2 million tonnes at 2.01 g/t Au in the inferred category. The former mine produced 279,541 oz of gold during operation.

The company maintains a large photo gallery of the Brewery Creek project at www.GoldenPredator.com.
