MANITOBA - Drilling below the lowest developed level 5,300 ft below surface at the Rice Lake gold mine encountered 7.8 metres of 12.6 g/t Au below the A, 96 and C vein complex, reported owner SAN GOLD of Bissett, Man. The longest intersection was 9.2 metres that averaged 6.0 g/t Au.

Mechanized development is currently underway in order to access this mineralization from the existing decline in order to mine using both mechanized cut and fill and traditional shrinkage methods that are flexible and well suited to the vein patterns.

A general longitudinal view of the lower Rice Lake mine and area influenced by the recent drilling results is available on the company's website, www.SanGoldCorp.com.
