QUEBEC - Toronto-based Golden Hope Mines has begun a large bulk sampling program at its wholly owned Bellechasse-Timmins gold deposit in the Beauce Region. The deposit is "nuggety", said the company, therefore diamond drilling cannot provide large enough samples on which to base accurate grade estimates.

The current sampling program includes the Ascot/Road, the T1 and 88 zones. The Ascot/Road zone will be sampled from surface. Comprehensive bulk sampling across all of the of the T1 zone, begun previously, will provide a reliable estimate of grade. The 88 zone, discovered in September 2010, lies 300 metres southeast of the T1 zone. None of the previous diamond drill holes on the property have been much deeper than 250 metres from the surface.

Golden Hope will post a map of the sampling trenches as well as provide further details of the results as they become available. Please see www.GoldenHopeMines.com.
