NORTHERN ONTARIO There is gold in the former Magino mine near Wawa, says owner GOLDEN GOOSE RESOURCES. The updated resource estimate prepared by SNOWDEN MINING INDUSTRY CONSULTANTS, using a cut-off grade of 0.05 opt Au, indicates that measured and indicated resources total 7.295 million tons grading 0.075 opt Au. Another 1.19 million tons at 0.071 opt Au are inferred.

The report recommends that a scoping study be carried out in hopes of creating an open pit mine. It would cover pit optimization, pit design, long-term scheduling, operating costs and gold prices, and would cost about $75,000.

The Snowden report and details of the Magino gold project (including a proposed pit design) are available at www.GoldenGooseRes.com. The Magino mine operated during the 1930s and again from 1988 to 1992.
