BRITISH COLUMBIA - CROSS LAKE MINERALS of Vancouver reports excellent grades from underground diamond drilling of the North zone at its QR gold mine 60 km southeast of Quesnel. Core that assayed 10.64 g/t Au over 9.17 metres was recovered, but that was not the best grade. A 1.23-metre intersection assayed 13.61 g/t Au.

Drilling will continue in order to outline an ore zone suitable for development. The North zone is the largest on the QR property and has the potential to significantly extend the life of the mine, according to Cross Lake. The QR mineralization in both the Main and North zones is classified as a skarn deposit and the shape of the mineralization is variable.

Cross Lake has assembled an informative gallery of pictures from the QR mine. They are posted at www.CrossLakeMinerals.com.
