ONTARIO – Gowest Gold of Toronto has plans to develop the next new gold mine in the Timmins camp, the Bradshaw deposit north of the Hoyle Pond and Bell Creek mines and east of the Kidd mine. The company hopes to begin site preparation work and mine development in Q3 2016 and follow up with bulk sampling in the fourth quarter. Last year Gowest completed a robust pre-feasibility study on the deposit, filed a closure plan, and submitted all permit applications for advanced exploration. This year the company hopes to secure those permits, let contracts and close financing, and conduct exploration to increase the resources at Bradshaw and develop new ones at nearby properties. Highlights of the pre-feasibility study are available here.
