ONTARIO – Harte Gold Corp. of Toronto says it has made a “significant” new discovery at tits Sugar Zone property 60 km east of the Hemlo gold camp. The new find lies in the 2.3 x 1.5 km area between the Sugar Zone deposit and the Wolf zone discovery. The area was covered by a 3-D IP/resistivity survey earlier this year. Harte said the discovery lies between 140 and 450 metres below surface and includes four mineralized sections. The second and third sections measure 10 and 12 metres respectively and include grades up to 60 g/t Au over 0.5 metre. That bonanza grade was part of a 1.20-metre section that averaged 25.40 g/t in a core with a total length of 6.00 metres and grade of 6.34 g/t Au. The mineralization include quartz veining, fuchsite and tourmaline not seen previously in the Sugar Zone deposit.
