QUEBEC – As Gold Bullion Development Corp. begins the rolling start at the Granada gold mine and mill in Rouyn-Noranda, the company has good news. The calculated gold head grade increased 33% over the assayed head grade, and recovery reached 97.2% Au from a conventional gravity and flotation circuits.

The gold grade of the concentrate produced was 4.86 g/t, up from the base grade of 0.45 g/t Au. Cyanide leaching of the concentrate resulted in a 90.6% gold recovery. The tests were conducted by Gekko Systems on a single composite 260-km drill core sample.

Gold Bullion says the current 43-101 estimate includes 1.65 million oz of gold in 47.48 million measured and indicated tonnes that grade 1.05 g/t Au (using a 0.4 g/t cut-off). The property has an additional 1.03 million oz of gold in 29.98 million inferred tonnes that grade 1.07 g/t Au.
