GOLD: IamGold drills high grades at Monster Lake

QUEBEC – As IamGold Corp. of Toronto resumes exploration at its optioned Monster Lake gold project 20 km southwest of Chibougamau, it is reporting high grade intersections. In the Megane zone, hole ML14-130 returned 46.33 g/t Au over 9.18 metres, including 182.8 g/t over 2.2 metres.

Nor was that the only hole with high grades. Hole ML14-101 assayed 18.68 g/t Au over 3.42 metres and hole ML14-132 assayed 6.74 g/t over 7.1 metres.

IamGold holds a 50% option at Monster Lake from 90% owner TomaGold Corp. and 10% owner Quinto Real Capital Corp. IamGold has agreed to spend a total of $5.5 million on the property.
