QUEBEC – Integra Gold Corp. of Vancouver has released an updated 43-101 report for the Triangle zone at its Lamaque South gold project in Val d’Or. The report puts contained gold in the zone at very close to half a million ounces. This is the first estimate that includes a series of steeply dipping C-type structures in the zone. Here’s the Triangle zone breakdown with a 3.0 g/t cut-off: 2.65 million indicated tonnes grading 7.37 g/t Au and 3.93 million inferred tonnes grading 6.89 g/t Au. The numbers reflect a 21% and 400% increase to the number of contained ounces, respectively. The company has seven drills active in the Triangle zone drilling 8,000 to 10,000 metres per month. The new resource figures include results of 27,815 metres of drilling done since the earlier resource report. Another 17,000 metres have been completed since the 43-101 report was compiled. Integra says there remains excellent potential for expanding the Triangle zone. Integra also recapped the total resources at Lamaque South including the Triangle, Parallel, Sixteen and Fortune zones plus the No.4 plug and No.6 vein. Again using a 3.0 g/t cut-off, total indicated resources are 5.35 million tonnes at 6.78 g/t Au containing 1.16 million oz of gold. Total inferred resources are 4.55 million tonnes at 7.03 g/t Au containing 1.03 million oz. Detailed results are available at IntegraGold.com or click here.
