YUKON – Kaminak Gold Corp. of Vancouver says a new extension of shallow oxide gold mineralization links the Supremo T5 and T7 zones at the Coffee gold project 130 km south of Dawson City. The new structure, the T5 splay, has a strike extent of at least 450 metres trending northeast from the southern section of the T5 zone, says the company.

Drilling at the Coffee project extended the T7 zone a further 500 metres southwards along strike to the point where it appears to merge with the T5 splay. Highlights from the T5 splay include 6.23 g/t Au over 12.19 metres; 5.70 g/t over 6.09 metres; 2.78 g/t over 12.19 metres; and 3.54 g/t over 7.00 metres. The Supremo T5 zone is now known to have a strike length of 1.7 km, and the T7 zone strikes 950 metres.

Kaminak says it has now delineated more than 10 km of mineralized strike zone within the supremo-Latte-Double Double area, where the bulk of the inferred resource is found.
