YUKON – Kaminak Gold Corp. of Vancouver recently completed a 27-hole, $3.5-million exploration at the Coffee gold project 130 km south of Dawson City. Drilling intersected new shallow, predominately oxidized gold structures within the Kona North zone. The core assayed 3.55 g/t Au over 28 metres. Additional drilling is underway to determine the structural orientation and geometry of the new zone.

Kaminak also said drilling has extended the Supremo T3 zone to the north, making the strike length at least 3.5 km. The best assays were 1.95 g/t Au over 14 metres and 2.21 g/t over 9 meters. The T3 structure remains open to the north along strike and at depth, said the company.

The next phase of drilling has a $2.0-million budget. It will increase the global resource inventory ahead of the final feasibility study.

More details from the phase one drill program are available in the Sept. 2, 2014, news release posted at Kaminak.com.
