YUKON – Vancouver's Kaminak Gold Corp. has received the most recent assays from the Latte deposit at its Coffee project 130 km south of Dawson City. The results are important because the Latte deposit will contribute about 21% of the recoverable ounces to the project.

A total of 5,200 metres of infill drilling in 43 holes was completed last year at the Latte target. Many intersections were of exceptional length (22.86 metres at 1.62 g/t Au, 16.76 metres at 4.85 metres, 22.86 metres at 3.99 g/t, 19.81 metres at 3.63 g/t, 24.39 metres at 1.31 g/t, 27.43 metres at 1.01 g/t, 18.29 metres at 0.98 g/t, and 21.33 metres at 0.99 g/t). Short intersections of very high grades (24.06 g/t over 3 metres and 19.15 g/t over 2 metres) were also reported.

Kaminak continues to work on the Coffee feasibility study that is expected to be ready late this year or early in 2016. Drilling and related field programs will resume at the site in February 2015.

Maps, sections and assay sheets associated with the recent results are posted on the Kaminak website. Click here to go to them.
