GOLD: KLGold drills 5.5+ oz/ton at Amalagamated Break

ONTARIO – Kirkland Lake Gold, based in the town of the same name, recently drilled 189.94 g/t Au (5.54 opt) over 0.3 metres true width on the South Claims property. The core contained visible gold at about 205 metres below surface.

ONTARIO – Kirkland Lake Gold, based in the town of the same name, recently drilled 189.94 g/t Au (5.54 opt) over 0.3 metres true width on the South Claims property. The core contained visible gold at about 205 metres below surface.

Two other holes returned high grade assays. About 135 metres below surface, one hole returned 177.60 g/t Au over 0.33 metres true width. The second cut 1.28 metres of 22.97 g/t Au and 0.24 metres at 41.82 g/t.

The current drilling program is focused on defining near surface mineralization associated with the Amalgamated Break. Recent results comes from zones 1 and 2 about 150 metres east of the previously defined limit.
