QUEBEC – Metanor Resources, based in Val d'Or, QC, has intersected 12.24 g/t Au over 4.0 metres in an area between the Hewfran and Bachelor sectors.

Other results from zone A in the Hewfran sector are also promising: 9.64 g/t Au over 2.54 metres; 21.11 g/t over 1.91 metres; 3.31 g/t over 2.41 metres; 5.34 g/t over 3.89 metres; and 9.90 g/t over 1.80 metres. Core was tested using fire assays at the Metanor lab.

The Hewfran area is in the western part of the Bachelor property. The area was previously explored, but only in the last few weeks has the existing drift been dewatered so that underground drilling could be done from level 6. A second drill is to be installed soon. Development toward the Hewfran sector is advancing on both level 6 and level 8.

The Bachelor mine produced 9,860 oz of gold during Q1 2015. More information is available at Metanor.ca
