QUEBEC – Maudore Minerals of Montreal has updated the resource estimate for the Vezza gold project 25 km south of Matagami. The property was recently purchased from North American Palladium when that company divested all its gold interests.

As of Dec. 31, 2012, the Contact zone had measured and indicated resources of 1.2 million tonnes grading 6.5 g/t Au or 261,110 oz of contained gold (4.2 g/t cut-off). The inferred portion totals 435,830 tonnes at 4.9 g/t or 68,540 oz of contained gold (3.0 g/t cut-off). The estimate does not consider external dilution during mining.

Maudore is test mining material from Vezza and trucking it to the Sleeping Giant mill (another former NAP property) about 75 km away.

The company's website is at Maudore.com.
