MANITOBA – Recent drilling by Mega Precious Metals of Thunder Bay, ON, at its Monument Bay project continues to outline near surface, high grade gold and gold-tungsten structures within a broader area of gold mineralization. The project is located 570 km northeast of Winnipeg, and 100 km east of Gods Lake Narrows.

The zone is demonstrating good continuity. Hole TL-14-514 cut 39.3 metres of 4.43 g/t Au including 14.2 g/t Au over 9.2 metres. Hole TL-14-515 cut 23.0 metres of 1.52 g/t Au including 5.2 g/t Au and 0.07% WO3 over 3.0 metres. Hole TL-14-511 intersected 26.4 metres of 0.90 g/t Au including 1.76 g/t over 9.7 metres.

Mega is also re-assaying old core, and it says the results continue to define broad gold zones with multiple gold-tungsten shear zones. Expect an updated resource estimate in the latter part of the year.

The Monument Bay property includes three deposits (Twin Lakes, Mid East and AZ) that are minable from both pits and underground. Further information is available at MegaPMI.com.
