QUEBEC – Metanor Resources of Val d'Or is pleased with the larger intersections in two holes than reported at the end of March. At the Bachelor gold mine, hole 13-154 averaged 4.25 g/t Au over 7.8 metres, and hole 13-160 averaged 6.14 g/t over 15.0 metres.

Both of these holes were drilled in the Main zone between levels 13 and 14. Drilling continues westward from the drill bay on level 13. Metanor says that development is within 30 metres of the area.

The Bachelor mine is a former producer with a 1,200 t/d mill 225 km northeast of Val d'Or. Underground mining and milling restarted in 2012.
