QUEBEC – Metanor Resources of Val d'Or, QC, has intersected a new gold zone 860 metres south of its wholly owned Bachelor gold mine in Le Sueur Twp. The new structure was intersected along a length of 400 metres by four surface drill holes.

By comparison, the Bachelor mine averages only 275 metres long.

Metanor geologists took more than 80 cuts grading between 0.5 and 10.9 g/t Au from the four cores. The geological context in the four holes is similar to the gold structures at the mine that are associated with hematized shears containing 1% to 8% fine pyrite. Drilling will continue.
