ONTARIO - The Bell Creek gold mill near Timmins has reached its target throughput of 2,000 t/d, says owner Lake Shore Gold of Toronto. An additional ball mill, leach tank and associated equipment was installed. The expansion was complete on time and within budget.

The mill treats ore from the Timmins, Bell Creek and Thunder Creek properties in a conventional carbon-in-pulp (CIP) circuit. The company expects to produce 65,000 oz of gold in 2010, and 120,000 oz in 2011.

Details of the Bell Creek Complex are available at www.LSGold.com.
