BRITISH COLUMBIA - BCGold Corp. of Vancouver has completed the phase one exploration program at its Engineer gold mine with the completion of bulk sampling and test milling. The property is situated 32 km west of Atlin. Documented production between 1910 and 1952 totalled 18,000 oz of gold and 8,950 oz of silver.

Six composite bulk samples totaling 400 tonnes were treated recently in the refurbished mill. About 800 kg of table concentrate was collected, and precious metals recovered from the finishing table were used to make gold-silver doré. The concentrate is to be tested an sold if possible.

BCGold says there are 25 known veins on the Engineer property, and only four have been partially explored and mined. The company also owns the adjacent Gold Hill property.
