BRITISH COLUMBIA ANGLO SWISS RESOURCES of Vancouver has begun the installation of new processing equipment at its 100% owned Kenville gold mine near Nelson. A pair of ball bills and drives, a classifier, and three flotation units containing four cells each are on the site. The mill will process ore from an underground bulk sampling program.

Anglo Swiss says the Kenville gold mine property is one of the oldest and most prolific producers in the district. It operated intermittently from 1890 to 1954, with the bulk of production from 1899 to 1912. Government records indicate that past production from 181,295 tonnes mined totalled 65,233 oz of gold, 27,682 oz of silver, 51,808 lb of lead, 33,069 lb of zinc, 3,527 lb of copper and 81.5 lb of Cd.

Earlier this year, Anglo Swiss began a complete rehabilitation of the infrastructure on the Kenville mine site, including the main adit portal, underground rail lines and air lines to coincide with the completion of the process equipment installation.

Photos of equipment arriving at the Kenville mine are posted at www.Anglo-Swiss.com.
