ONTARIO – Premier Gold Mines of Thunder Bay, ON, is pleased with the continuing exploration of its Rahill-Bonanza joint venture in the Red Lake mining camp. Premier’s partner at Rahill is Goldcorp (55% and operator) of Vancouver. Work has uncovered additional high grade gold mineralization immediately south of the tram and on strike with Goldcorp’s Red Lake Gold Mines complex. Hole D36987 assayed 15.79 g/t Au over 2.1 metres within an alteration zone of 6.58 g/t over 6.3 metres. Hole D36994 returned 18.20 g/t Au over 3.4 metres. Hole D36999 assayed 36.30 g/t Au over 1.7 metres and 10.0 g/t over 2.5 metres. [caption id="attachment_1003712687" align="alignright" width="300"]Composite plan view of the fold target (36 level). Composite plan view of the fold target (36 level).[/caption] The best assay came from hole D361036 that returned 46.00 g/t Au over 11.0 metres including 121.20 g/t over 3.8 metres. This is also one of the deeper holes, about 200 metres below surface. Premier and Goldcorp will target the projected down plunge extension of the Wilmar zone in future drilling.
