GOLD: Premier updates resource estimate for Hardrock deposit

ONTARIO – Premier Gold Mines of Thunder Bay, ON, has revised its resource estimate for the Hardrock gold deposit at its 100% owned Trans-Canada property in the town of Greenstone.

ONTARIO – Premier Gold Mines of Thunder Bay, ON, has revised its resource estimate for the Hardrock gold deposit at its 100% owned Trans-Canada property in the town of Greenstone.

Numbers for both open pit and underground mining were given. The potential open pit has 50.2 million indicated tonnes at 1.46 g/t Au and 17.8 million inferred tonnes at 1.50 g/t. Underground mineralization is 5.5 million indicated tonnes at 5.01 g/t Au plus 16.9 million inferred tonnes at 5.38 g/t.

Combined, the indicated resource is 55.8 million tonnes grading 1.87 g/t Au and containing 3.24 million oz. The combined inferred resource is 34.7 million tonnes grading 3.50 g/t Au and containing 3.78 million oz.
