VANCOUVER – Last year Goldcorp sold 2.67 million oz of gold on record production of 2.87 million oz at all-in sustaining costs of US$949 per oz. That combination gave the company US$4.5 billion in adjusted revenues and US$498 million in net earnings.

The excellent results were in part due to the start-up of the Éléonore mine in Quebec and the Cerro Negro mine in Argentina. Commercial production at Cerro Negro was declared on Jan. 1, 2015, and is expected at Éléonore by the end of March 2015.

Capital expenditures this year will fall between US$1.2 billion and US$1.4 billion. Major projects include Cerro Negro (US$235 million), Penasquito (US$215 million), Éléonore (US$115 million), and Cochenour (US$95 million).

Production in 2015 at all of Goldcorp's properties is forecast to grow an additional 20% to between 3.3 million and 3.6 million oz. AISC costs are expected to be between US$875 and US$$950 per oz.
