VAL D'OR, Quebec - Eco Refractory Solutions has tested its hydrometallurgical process for refractory gold ores for a second client, and says it was successful in recovering 98.1% of the contained gold in 24 hours using little cyanide. Follow-up carbon-in-leach tests confirmed the high recovery rate.

Eco's exclusive hydrometallurgical process recovers more gold than other processes in an environmentally friendly manner, according to the company. The process does not require a fine grind, high cyanide consumption or expensive infrastructure such as autoclaves.

Tests of arsenical refractory ore supplied by Eco's first client recovered 95% of the gold and transformed both the arsenic and sulphides into stable forms suitable for disposal in tailings.

Eco Refractory Solutions (www.EcoRefractory.com) is 75% owned by Globex Mining Enterprises (www.GlobexMining.com).
