Carlisle has offered two sets of numbers. The measured and indicated resource for a pit is 30.0 million tonnes grading 1.68 g/t Au and 4.4 g/t Ag. For an operation combining an open pit with an underground mine, the measured and indicated resources is 32.4 million tonnes grading 1.86 g/t Au and 4.4 g/t Ag. There is also an inferred resource for the pit-underground option of 1.9 million tonnes at 2.01 g/t Au and 3.7 g/t Ag.

Carlisle’s recent drill program concentrated on filling in the gaps in areas that were either not drilled or were under-drilled in the past. Last year the Western Extension, South and Bruichladdie zones were tested. From 1986 to 1989, ore was mined from the Main and East Main zones and milled at a rate of 900 t/d.
