GOLD RESOURCES: Almost 5-M oz indicated at Eagle gold deposit

YUKON - Toronto-based Victoria Gold Corp. has released a 43-101-compliant resource estimate for its Eagle Gold deposit at Dublin Gulch. Contained gold in the indicated category have increased 50% to 4.8 million oz compared to the prefeasibility report dated in April 2010.

The new numbers were based in part on drilling results from the 2010 program, the assumption of an increased gold price, and the inclusion of mineralization intersected in meta-sediments as well as granodiorite. In the indicated category there are 222.2 million tonnes averaging 0.68 g/t Au. In the inferred category there are 77.9 million tonnes grading 0.69 g/t Au.

Victoria is hoping to begin production at the Eagle mine in 2014, peaking the following year at nearly 300,000 oz. An open pit and heap leaching pad are planned. See www.VitGoldCorp.com.
