ONTARIO – Rouyn-Noranda, Que.s RICHMONT MINES (55%) and Torontos PATRICIA MINING (45%) report that there are 477,461 oz of gold contained in their Island gold project. The Apr. 12, 2007, number is a jump of 250% over the estimates of seven months earlier.

For all zones, the latest measured and indicated resources total 1.4 million t grading 10.41 g/t Au plus an inferred resource of 610,728 t grading 9.95 g/t Au. Compare these figures to those of the earlier report: 519,729 t grading 11.34 g/t Au in the measured and indicated categories, plus 196,917 t grading 10.16 g/t Au in the inferred category.
