GOLD: San Gold drilling returns 99 g/t Au

MANITOBA – The high grade assays just keep coming for San Gold Corp. of Winnipeg. Underground drilling on the 26 level of the Rice Lake gold mine has returned core grading as high as 99.1 g/t Au.

MANITOBA – The high grade assays just keep coming for San Gold Corp. of Winnipeg. Underground drilling on the 26 level of the Rice Lake gold mine has returned core grading as high as 99.1 g/t Au.

The high grade zones are located to the hanging wall of the 710 zone and appear to be part of the 007 system at depth. The core was recovered from the newly established 6140 drill station 1,170 metres below surface at the eastern end of the 710 zone.

The high grade assay values are capped at 102.8 g/t (3 opt) and remain outstanding. Hole 13-009 returned 14.7 g/t Au over 4.1 metres at a depth of 1,174 metres. Hole 13-010 returned 45.3 g/t Au over 6.1 metres at 1,172 metres, including 99.1 g/t Au over 1.5 metres.
