SASKATCHEWAN – Claude Resources of Saskatoon has updated reserves at its Seabee gold operation 125 km northeast of La Ronge resulting in an increase of 78% in reserves thanks to results from the Santoy Gap zone.

Proven and probable reserves now total 2.79 million tonnes grading 6.19 g/t Au or 554,100 contained oz. The Santoy Gap amounts to 1.21 million tonnes at 6.24 g/t Au or 243,000 oz of contained gold.

The Seabee operation also has measured and indicated resources of 469,600 tonnes grading 5.10 g/t Au (77,000 contained oz) and inferred resources of 2.96 million tonnes grading 6.35 g/t Au (603,400 contained oz).

The increased reserve and resource numbers are a result of Claude's ongoing strategy of advancing the Santoy Gap deposit toward production. The company plans to begin process development ore from the Santoy mine in the first half of 2014, and reaching commercial production in 2015. The Santoy mine lies 14 km from the Seabee mine and central milling facility.
