NEVADA – Rye Patch Gold Corp. of Vancouver says its Florida Canyon gold-silver project is 70% complete, with the first blast and beginning of mining on Nov. 1, 2016. The open pit and heap leach project is located halfway between Lovelock and Winnemucca. Rye Patch expects to achieve commercial production from the new leach pad in Q1 2017. The crusher has been moved and all long lead time items  have arrived on site. The pregnant and barren ponds are complete, and the plastic liner is rolling across the lower third of the pad. The project is fully funded and below budget. The company continues to produce about 30 oz of gold per day by residual heap leaching from the old pads. Details of the Florida Canyon project and a gallery of pictures is posted at www.RyePatchGold.com.
