GOLD-SILVER: Pretium files resource update for Brucejack

BRITISH COLUMBIA – Having updated the Brucejack feasibility study last summer, Pretium Resources of Vancouver has now filed an updated NI43-101 report for the same. The gold-silver project lies about 65 km north of Stewart.

The mineral reserve for both the VOK and West zones contains 19.0 million proven and probable tonnes grading 12.0 g/t Au and 58.0 g/t Ag and containing 7.3 million oz of gold and 35.3 million oz of silver.

As estimated at the end of December 2013, the VOK zone has measured and indicated resources of 15.3 million tonnes grading 17.6 g/t Au and 14.3 g/t Ag. The inferred resource is 5.9 million tonnes grading 25.6 g/t Au and 20.6 g/t Ag.

The estimate for the West zone was made in April 2012. It includes 4.9 million measured and indicated tonnes at 5.85 g/t Au and 267.0 g/t Ag, plus 4.0 million inferred tonnes at 6.44 g/t Au and 82.0 g/t Ag.
