VANCOUVER – Silver Wheaton credited a record 109,200 oz of gold to its account in the third quarter of 2016. For the first nine months of the year, the total is more than 240,000 oz. Gold sales were also at a record level for the third consecutive quarter, at over 85,000 oz, driven by record gold sales at Salobo.
The company also produced 7.7 million oz of silver during the third quarter.
Average realized sale price per ounce sold in Q3 2016 of US$19.53 per oz of silver and US$1,336 per oz of gold representing an increase of 30% and 18%, respectively, compared to Q3 2015. Average cash costs last quarter were US$4.51 per oz of silver and US$390 per oz of gold.
