QUEBEC – Results from the first four holes of the autumn 2017 drill program at the Cheechoo gold property at Eeyou Istchee James Bay returned some long and strong gold grades for owner Sirios Resources of Montreal.

Hole 108 was drilled to confirm the extension of gold mineralization indicated by earlier holes. The company says that over its 575 metres the tonalite core assayed 0.7 g/t gold. This hole also returned 6.0 g/t over 26.0 metres and 137.7 g/t over 0.5 metre.

Assays from three other holes were interesting, as well. Hole 109 cut 327.1 metres averaging 0.7 g/t gold including 8.4 g/t over 11.0 metres and 167.2 g/t over 0.5 metre. Hole 110 cut 286.5 metres averaging 0.8 g/t including 3.0 g/t over 15.1 metres and 73 g/t over 0.5 metre. Hole 111 returned 281.5 metres at 0.5 g/t including 18.6 g/t over 1.5 metre.

A table with detailed drilling results is available in the news release dated Jan. 16, 2018, posted at www.Sirios.com.
