GOLD: TerraX drills 8 metres @ 60.60 g/t at Yellowknife City project

NORTHWEST TERRITORIES – TerraX Minerals has drilled 8.00 metres of 60.60 g/t Au at the Mispickel zone at the Yellowknife City gold project. That intersection included 2.25 metres of 212.48 g/t.

Lengths were good, although grades were less spectacular, from two other holes. One returned 10.68 metres of 2.34 g/t Au including 2.57 metres at 6.84 g/t. The other returned 12.95 metres of 1.53 g/t Au including 4.81 metres at 3.38 g/t.

TerraX said it drilled 980 metres in five holes to follow up on promising results noted earlier this year. Each hole contained wide zones of low grade mineralization, including 145.90 metres at 0.34 g/t Au. That hole, TWL16-017, bottomed out in mineralization. Within these long, low grade zones are areas of higher grades usually with visible gold.
