GOLD: TMAC cuts high grades below Doris mine reserves

NUNAVUT – Toronto’s TMAC Resources has drilled high grade gold mineralization at depth below the dyke at the Doris deposit in the northern part of the Hope Bay property.

Two holes cut extensions below the dyke, returning 35.0 g/t over 17.7 metres and 25.4 g/t over 2.6 metres. Two other holes interested the east limb below the dyke, returning 50.6 g/t over 5.3 metres and 97.7 g/t over 2.0 metres.

Currently, Doris resources are defined only to an un-mineralized diabase dyke that lies from 100 to 200 metres below surface. The latest drill results plus historical drill results point toward the continuation of the high grade mineralization below the dyke.

The current measured and indicated resource totals 550,000 tonnes grading 20.2 g/t Au and containing 358,000 oz of gold. This year’s underground exploration program will both extend current resources and define additional mineralization below the diabase dyke.

TMAC is preparing the Hope Brook project for the start of mining by the end of 2016. Please visit www.TmacResources.com.
