ONTARIO – Toronto’s Treasury Metal has released new resource estimates that total more than 1.1 million oz of gold equivalent at its Goliath gold project 20 km east of Dryden. The estimate was completed by P&E Mining Consultants to update the numbers from the 2011 study.

The project – both underground and open pit – contains 90,300 oz of gold equivalent in 1.12 million measured tonnes grading 2.51 g/t AuEq and 1.08 million oz of gold equivalent in 19.44 million indicated tonnes grading 1.71 g/t AuEq. The inferred portion has 3.47 million tonnes at 3.06 g/t AuEq or 341,300 oz of gold equivalent. Most of these resources are contained in the Main and C zones.

Treasury has begun the permitting process for the Goliath project. The project includes the Thunder Lake property purchased from Teck and Corona, as well as the Laramide property that was transferred to Treasury upon its creation.
