NUNAVUT – WPC Resources of Vancouver has completed a new resource estimate for the Ulu gold property 155 km north of the former Lupin mine. Specifically, the Flood zone has a measured and indicated resource of 2.50 million tonnes at 7.53 g/t Au or 605,000 oz of gold. The inferred resource, including both the Flood and Central A zones, is 1.26 million tonnes grading 5.57 g/t Au or 226,000 oz of gold.

The deepest hole drilled in the Flood zone returned 14.9 g/t Au over 7.7 metres at 610 metres below surface. The zone is hosted by iron rich tholeitic basalt and composted of multiple anastomosing shear hosted auriferous zones.

WPC resources recently entered into a letter of intent to acquire a 100% interest in the Ulu property, the Lupin mine and mill, and other adjacent prospects from Mandalay Resources Corp. (WPC intends to change its name to Lupin Gold Corp. when its acquisition of the Lupin mine and Ulu property is complete.) WPC also has sole ownership of the Hood River property that is contiguous to the Ulu property.
