TORONTO and OTTAWA – As the old year winds down, we at Canadian Mining Journal are taking an much-anticipated break. Our offices will be closed from Friday, Dec. 23 through Jan. 2, 2017. They will reopen on Jan. 3.
But as we put away the cares of work to enjoy our friends and families, we know that not everyone can step away from the job.
Many of our readers will be working through the holidays. They will keep the lights on in the mineral processing plants and surface facilities wherever they are. They will ensure continued safety and security at all of our mine sites. They are sometimes in remote locations away from family . Without your perseverance, the world’s mining industry would grind to a halt.
