PEORIA, Illinois KOMATSU AMERICA CORP. has announced a minimum three-month closure of its manufacturing plant for large mining trucks. Komatsu blames the slowdown in worldwide mining markets for the move. The shutdown begins April 14, 2003, and will affect about 350 employees. During that time new product development, customer support and parts shipments will continue.
