HEALTH & SAFETY NEWS Goderich Mine Wins Award

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia The Salt Institute, which represents 95 North American production facilities, has made its award for the safest small processing plant to SIFTO CANADA's Goderich mill. Other facilities that won recognition were Morton Salt and Cargill Salt. Awards are given for both the lowest incidence and the lowest severity of reportable injuries for mining, small processing plants, large processing plants, and warehouses/terminals.

The Goderich mine is a previous multiple winner in the mining category.
