NEWFOUNDLAND – Canada Fluorspar Inc. (CFI) said three holes drilled on its Grebes Nest property have extended the strike of the vein system more than 1.3 km. Hole 13-21 returned an average grade of 71.39% CaF2 over 17.01 metres. Hole 13-03 returned 28.13% CaF2 over 8.00 metres. Hole 13-20 cut two veins, 42.46% CaF2 over 9.70 metres and 50.65% CaF2 over 7.77 metres.

The new structure is located 4 km from the former Tarefare mine and less than 6 km from the former Blue Beach North mine west of the town of St. Lawrence.

The Grebes Nest target is outside the area covered by the Newspar joint venture (50% CFI and 50% Arkema) that is focused on reopening the former St. Lawrence mine.
