IRON ORE: Champion adds up numbers at Fire Lake North

QUEBEC – Champion Iron Limited of Toronto has realesed resource and reserve numbers for the Fire Lake North iron ore joint venture near Fermont. All figures are compliant to Australian Joint Ore Reserve Committee (JORC) standards.

QUEBEC – Champion Iron Limited of Toronto has realesed resource and reserve numbers for the Fire Lake North iron ore joint venture near Fermont. All figures are compliant to Australian Joint Ore Reserve Committee (JORC) standards.

Using a 15% Fe cut-off, Champion has determined the Fire Lake North property contains 755.3-million-tonne measured and indicated resource averaging 31.83% Fe and an inferred resource of 461.0 million tonnes grading 31.83% Fe. Within the resource parameters, the proved and probable reserves are 464.6 million tonnes grading 32.37% Fe.
